Heads of Ranks

Heads of Ranks are sub-ranks. A Head is voted on by the other members of the rank (or if they are the only one). If the vote ends in a tie, the Head Bureaucrat, Head Admin, and Head Mini-Admin also cast votes.

For the most part, this grants them very little extra power and makes them a sort of spokes-person or mascot.

Additional Jobs

  • Can vote in Head Votes
    • Head Helpers cannot vote in any Head Votes.
    • Head Chat Mods and Head Rollbacks only vote to break ties.
  • The Head Bureaucrat, Head Admin, and Head Mini-Admin vote to break ties on Head of Rank Votes.

  • Be a member of a Party. (If not a member of one, run with the Independent Party)
  • Add Template:RunningAp to the application.
  • Add Template:QualVote to the end of the application.

Questions

I see some users with the title "Former" and then another rank next to it, what does that mean?

When someone is demoted, for whatever reason, they are no-longer staff. But they do get a special title saying "Former (LastRankHeld)". This is mostly a thanks for their service to the wiki.

What's the point of Interns?

Intern isn't a true rank, it's just a reward for being user of the week so many times. But they are allowed to voice their opinion in a staff vote and vote in staff votes if there is a tie.

Why don't Interns get the "Former" thing?

This is because they were never truly staff in the same way a Helper or higher was.

Why isn't there a Head Intern?

Because there is only ever 1 Intern. So it'd be pointless to also call them the Head Intern.

Is Founder a Rank?

Founder is a title created by Wikia and given to whoever created the wiki. For our wiki, it's Jackboog21. No-one else can obtain this title and it's not an elected title. It's only a title for whoever founds a wiki. The title itself holds no authority.

Do "tiers" mean the ranks are equal?

No. While tiers 3 and 4 are, Chat Mods are considered equal to Rollbacks and Discussion Mods are equal to Content Mods. With 1 and 5 they aren't, Interns aren't equal to Helpers and Admins aren't equal to Bureaucrats. Tiers are simply there to keep things organized by lumping ranks with the most similar rank. The only rank that has it's own is Mini-Admin, and that's because nothing is similar enough to that rank to be lumped in.
