Long lost feelings

Feelings I have towards a person feels like they put a curse on me. I always think that no matter what I do I will always not be liked. They have changed so much and now they are dating someone else. I feel like I was tossed to the side and left to be forgotten. Many lovers wait for each other like I waited for him. I guess when it comes to love its forget and ditch. I will never understand this cold dark world I live in but when I finally do I will see the I am truly nothing to live for. I am just gonna be something people waste their breath on everyday and all day. Can you save me from this? Can you help me understand love?
